STEP 1: Choosing a suitable B-school

Visit your local US embassy and enquire about the student VISA requirements for entry in to the US. F-1 is a student’s VISA which allows entry into the US for academic purposes. It is usually granted after submitting proof that one is confirmed to be admitted under the institute’s MBA program. The following steps may be followed for obtaining one’s student’s VISA:
1. Pay the SEVIS fee (Student and Exchange Visitor Information System)
2. Pay the visa fee at the nominated bank
3. Complete the visa application form
4. Book a visa interview appointment
5. Attend your visa interview
6. Your passport is returned to you by courier
